Giving From A Place of Luck....

Even from a place of lack and limited resources, a career diplomat and his family have donated €10,000.00 to the course of the National Cathedral Project.

And also a couple from the Trinity United Church after praying to God decided to support the project with a GH 5,000.00.

Whiles the families wishes to remain anonymous, they say the work of the Lord is paramount.

In explaining the idea behind the gesture, the diplomat said it had been a year long of saving following a prompt from God.

He stated that even though his family is enduring pressing needs, the project needs to be supported as it fulfills both spiritual and economic purposes to the Glory of God.

“Whatever God wills, will happen and my family and I are glad to contribute to the construction of his house”, he said.

Meanwhile, he expressed disappointment in the negative critique towards such a beneficial project to the entire African continent.

He said “the opposition is even more painful when it comes from Christians”.

The diplomat was however, optimistic that just as God drew him out to support, God was still in the miracle business and pledged continuous support in every way possible.

A member of the Board of Trustees, Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee in her acceptance response, stated that words weren’t enough to describe such gesture. She reiterated that obeying to such call and making God’s needs a priority is nobility.

“The work of God is more important than personal goals and this act will not go unblessed”, she said.

Rev. Joyce Aryee encouraged all Ghanaians to emulate the kind gesture to ensure that the Cathedral dream, is made a reality.
